The MSEUF 72nd Foundation Anniversary Logo portrays the wings of the mythological bird, "Phoenix" rising from an open book forming the number "72", the number of years the University exists since its founding in 1947. The bigger wing symbolizes the goal of the university - 1. Research-based knowledge; 2. Leadership and managerial skills and 3. Professionalism. It is placed above the open book that highlights the University’s fundamental purpose - to produce graduates that can meet the competitive demands of a diverse, global and technologically advanced society. The smaller wing embodies the three-fold functions - 1. Instruction, 2 - research and 3 - community service as a support to meet the education's global standards. Between 7 and 2 is a "pentagram" that symbolizes the unending passion for excellence connecting learners to the future. The logo is dominated by the colors maroon and gold, a combined colors of "excellence". Above the logo is the inscription of the theme of the MSEUF 72nd Foundation Anniversary, "Shining Brightly".
