MSEUF COMMEMORATES 33rd DEATH ANNIVERSARY OF FOUNDER

In simple rites, the entire community of the Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation commemorated the 33rd Death Anniversary of the late founding president Cong. Manuel S. Enverga Sr. on June 11 with a memorial mass officiated by Rev. Fr. Nelson Valle.

The celebration also served as welcome event for the freshmen and old students who enrolled this school year 2014-2015.

In attendance at the University Gymnasium were corporate officers namely: Chairman and Former Gov. Wilfrido L. Enverga with wife Madam Grace M. Enverga, Madam Naila E. Leveriza, president and C.O.O.; Madam Jazmin L. Enverga, vice president for administration; Mr. Michael E. Villanueva, vice president for external relations; Dr. Benilda N. Villenas, vice president for academics; academic and non-academic heads, faculty members, employees, students and guests.

In his reflection during mass celebration, Fr. Valle stressed “we are celebrating both the vision and the realization of this one dream of our beloved founder as we commence another school year and pay homage to the ideals and memories of Manuel S. Enverga Sr.” He encouraged the students not to fail their parents, the founder of the school and themselves. “You are in the very words of Jose Rizal angpag-asa ng kinabukasan ng atingsambayanan,” Fr. Valle pointed out.

Wreath- laying at the foot of the monument of the founder, some moment of silence with the Chamberwinds and the symbolical letting of white balloons to honor the founder followed after the memorial mass.

Some friends and guests very close to the Enverga Family also graced the occasion.
