MSEUF conducts medical/dental mission

Continuing its commitment to provide voluntary service to the community, Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation through the Community Relations Department successfully conducted a medical and dental mission in cooperation with the University Health Clinic and Southern Luzon Command (SoLCom), Dec. 15, at St. Bonaventure Student Center, MSEUF Campus, Lucena City.

The community service activity dubbed “Medical Mission: Maagang Pamasko Program” also paved way to give gifts to one hundred families from Brgy. Ibabang Dupay, Lucena City.

Brgy. Chairman Jacinto “Boy” Jaca conveyed his profound gratitude to the organizers for the good deed provided to the locals. Acting Director of the Community Relations Department Milagrosa Lawas also gave a message to the beneficiaries. Vice President for External Relations Michael E. Villanueva graced the event and gave his warm greetings to the families of Brgy. Ibabang Dupay.

The activity started with a registration and taking of the vital signs of the beneficiaries who were referred to the volunteer medical doctors for consultation and to the dentists for tooth consultation and extraction.

Among the services made available to the community were free consultations, medical and dental services and gift giving. Based on doctor’s prescription, free medicines and vitamins were also given to the patients. Snacks were also served free to the beneficiaries.

The Employees Association, Community Extension Services coordinators and the NROTC also took part in the activity.
