To develop and expand the global education market in the Philippines, Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation in Lucena City sent a representative to participate in the Macau Education Fair 2012 with other international leading institutions, February 24-26, at the Cotai Expo Hall A of the Venetian Macao. The Philippine Consulate in Macau headed by Consul General Renato Villapando invited the university to join the international education fair. University Registrar Mauro Eclavea coordinated the exhibit of the university in the three-day fair to meet prospective foreign students interested in taking internationally-recognized curriculum and English language instruction that Enverga University offers in both undergraduate and professional levels. Moreover, the university provided first-hand information on how to go about the application process, admission requirements, visa issuance, various courses and opportunities available, as well as cost of living and tuition. Leading education institutions from America, Europe, Asia-Pacific and other Philippine universities participated in the fair. Macau Education Fair’s theme this year is “The Premier International Education Fair is Your Milestone to Success” that aims to provide local students and parents an opportunity to gather sound information on local and overseas tertiary educational trends. The event also helped advance the worldwide recognition and globalization of Philippine universities. The Macau Education Fair is now on its second year. |
