Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation

Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation, an autonomous university, inked an agreement for the second time with Thai Nguyen University of Information and Communication Technology for the earlier to enroll TNU-ICT students in the Master of Information Technology, Master and Doctor of Educational Management and Teacher Education program after a five-member delegation from Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation in Lucena City visited Vietnam in the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on May 17 in Thai Nguyen City.

The MSEUF delegation is composed of Chairman Wilfrido Enverga, President Naila Leveriza, Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Benilda Villenas, Director for International Linkaging, Dr. Carmina Tolentino and University Comptroller Mr. Cesar Wong.

This partnership will significantly enhance training program and research carried out in priority areas of relevance to both universities. The MoU provides for the collaboration of a teacher exchange reciprocal program in Information Technology and English language enhancement. It also includes the 3+2 program in BS Information Technology; Master of Arts in Education major in Educational Management, Master of Business Administration, Master of Arts in Information Technology, Doctor of Educational Management, Doctor of Philosophy in English and joint training program in practical nursing where Vietnamese students will obtain their diplomas and certificates of completion at Enverga University.

Other areas agreed upon were the administrative responsibilities, finances and services of both universities under the Teacher Exchange Program.

In 2009, Enverga University made its first pact with TNU-ICT to build a sisterhood relationship and to promote further cooperation, understanding, linkaging and strategic alliance among the administrators, faculty members and students of both universities.

Thai Nguyen University of Information and Communication Technology is a member school of the Thai Nguyen University, one of the biggest universities in Vietnam. Currently, the school has over 270 academic and research staff and about 7,000 students taking courses in four training majors in the Thai Nguyen campus alone and 30,000 students in all campuses.

Enverga University President Naila Leveriza and TNU-ICT President Pham Viet Binh signed the MoU effective for a period of five years. The first signing ceremony was at MSEUF-Lucena City campus.
