Dean Paz L. Bobadilla reported that the Finance Team of the College of Business and Accountancy made it to the Twenty Best Finance Teams, in the country after ranking 11th in the NCR/Southern Luzon Elimination Round held on Sept. 18 among 80 competing teams in the annual finance competition sponsored by the Finance Executives of the Philippines. The team is composed of Joan Rochelle Aman, Ferdinand Balverde, John Carlo Gono and John Nelson Wee. The final round will be on Oct. 19 at the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas.

The team coaches are Dean Bobadilla, Cristina Ramos and Virginia Alcala. Four international teams – Assumption University of Thailand, University of Hongkong, Chulalongkorn University of Thailand and the National University of Singapore – will join the final round of the competition.

The top twenty schools aside from Enverga University are are University of the Philippines-Diliman, Ateneo de Manila University, University of the Philippines-Iloilo, De La Salle University-Manila, Far Eastern University, University of Santo Tomas, University of the East, Angeles University Foundation, University of St. La Salle, New Era University, Technological University of the Philippines, College of the Immaculate Conception, University of Cebu, MSU-Iligan Institute of Technology, San Sebastian College Recoletos-Manila, Kingfisher School of Business and Finance, Notre Dame University, TIP-Quezon City, and De La Salle University-Dasmariñas.
